Our Story

In 2019 the company started as two branches; NCKR and DJKlukow

In 2019, Southminster began as two separate branches: NCKR and DJKlukow. Nate Klukow, better known as Mo, our senior director and fearless leader, launched the company with a dual focus—offering DJ services under DJKlukow and running a recording studio through NCKRecording. As both branches grew, so did Mo's vision for the future of audio production.

NCKRecording evolved into what is now Gooseneck Studios, a full-scale recording facility known for its state-of-the-art equipment and professional sound quality. Meanwhile, DJKlukow continued to thrive, delivering high-energy DJ services for a variety of events. In 2021, seeing the growing demand for top-notch live audio production, Southminster Live was born. Armed with advanced technology and top-of-the-line sound reinforcement, Southminster Live quickly became one of the premier live audio service providers in the area.

What began as two small ventures under Mo's direction has transformed into a full-service production company. Today, Southminster offers a wide range of services, from live audio production to recording and DJ performances. With Mo's expertise and leadership, Southminster has earned a reputation for excellence, driven by a commitment to innovation and delivering unmatched audio experiences.

Our Staff

  • Nate Klukow "Mo"

    Meet Nate Klukow, better known as "Mo," our lead engineer, and director. Mo’s passion for audio began at an incredibly young age—he was already exploring the world of sound at just 8 years old. By 16, he was ahead of his class in tech, and at 17, he fully committed to taking his God-given talent for audio to the next level.

    By 18, Mo was managing concerts, hosting DJ events, and assisting churches with audio system installations—all while building what would become "Gooseneck Studios," his own recording space. At 19, he transformed his passion into a business, founding Southminster Media. Today, Mo leads with passion and expertise, working with companies like DB Sound of Charlotte and supporting churches like Transformation Church with their production needs. His leadership and hands-on approach have earned him a reputation as a driving force in the industry.

  • Truth Lewis

    Truth is an experienced photographer with over six years in the industry, known for his infectious smile and positive attitude. His love for photography began at 17 while traveling, where he found joy in capturing the beauty of the world around him. What started as a hobby quickly turned into a full-time career just two years later.

    Whether it's a wedding, engagement, or graduation, Truth brings his passion and enthusiasm to every shoot. His warm, easygoing nature makes clients feel comfortable. With Truth present; every moment will be captured with care and a touch of his signature smile.
